Travel Grants

A principal goal of the International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant (ICMGP) conference series is to increase participation by under-represented groups. We address to graduate students and early-stage researchers as well as to representatives of developing nations involved with the mercury problem. To increase participation of these groups at the 14th ICMGP, financial assistance to help offset travel and accommodation expenses is being offered in various manners.

A special fund has been established to provide various levels of support for under-represented groups. This support may include all or a portion of the following:

  • Conference registration fees
  • Accommodation at a local student housing facility
  • Airfare (if from a developing country)

Funds will be disbursed at the conference, upon submission of original receipts, including proof of travel and a copy of student I.D. Please come prepared to provide copies.
